Our hassle-free, easy to install DIY staircases are designed for the home handy person to install however, please note that a block and chain may be needed to assist in lifting the stairs into position. We have easy to follow instructions downloadable from our website and in addition, we have full telephone support if needed. If requested, our expert staff is happy to install the balustrading at an additional cost.

The characteristics of our popular DIY staircases are:
- We only manufacture our central spines from a high grade Australian steel
; - The heavy duty beams are RHS 150x100x5mm and span up to 6m;
- We ensure welds are hidden and the surface of the spine is body filled to provide a seamless finish and prior to shipping to ensure everything is plumb and level we weld our steel spines together;
- We spray finish etch primed with an industrial grey paint all steel spines to avoid rusting and if requested, we can custom paint steel spines with our latest metallic bronze and silver colours available;
- The riser material is 100x100x5mm in size. We are developing a new riser design that is shaped like a shark fin and will be fully adjustable from 32 to 38 degrees;
- The treads we manufacture are extra thick at 150x10mm in size and we usually manufacture them from standard timbers such as Jarrah, Malaysian Cherry and Victorian Ash. We have these timbers in stock at all times – ready for shipping;
- We supply heavy duty industrial strength bolts and fixings with our DIY staircases for fixing into concrete or
timber; - For the home owners who want to highlight their staircase at night we can provided an option to use LED lights which are concealed under the handrail and tread; and
