We have three main designs of DIY glass balustrading that we currently have readily available:
- Full frameless 12mm clear glass design. This is where the glass is held by either square or round spigots that may be fixed to stair treads and landings or chemset into concrete. A handrail is side fixed off a handrail bracket.
- Full frameless 12mm clear glass design. Square or round spigots are used to hold the glass and a slotted handrail fits on top of the glass panels.
- Semi frameless 10mm clear glass design. This is where the glass is held in position by either square or round glass clamps that are fixed to stainless steel posts (option of either square or round).
We only use 316 grade stainless steel for all fittings used in our DIY glass balustrading range for Melbourne and all fittings are available in satin or mirror finish. When ordering your glass balustrading you can be assured that we will supply all fixtures such as screws and fasteners to ensure your balustrading will be strong after installed and will last.
We have recently developed a range of raking glass panels which should suit most designs of stairs. We do offer the option if needed, to manufacture custom glass panels however, please note, custom panels will cost more than our standard glass panels. To ensure safe delivery of our glass panels we packaged the panels onto a pallet with reinforced panels and bubble wrapped to avoid any damage.
